Job Description - GSC Load Planner (2213086) GSC Load Planner - 2213086 Primary Location North America-US-CO-Denver International Airport (DEN) Schedule Full-time Unposting Date Organization Swissport International Job Summary
To efficiently manage and direct ramp activities to deliver high quality products/services to our customers. Job Responsibilities ---Must take a Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulated drug test and obtain a verified negative drug test result ---Agree to be scheduled for a mandatory Ground Security Coordinator training and agree to attend all required days of training --- Screening of all passengers --- Resolve conflicts between gate agents and passengers --- Intervene in situations with disruptive passengers --- Identify suspicious activities and prevent unauthorized access to the aircraft --- Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies including bomb threats and hijackings until relieved by as higher authority --- Oversee cargo and baggage acceptance procedures --- Aircraft ground servicing --- Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies. ---Supervise/control staff assignment, reporting and absences ---Control of staff overtime and compensation management ---Maintain applicable safety and quality standards for aircraft loading and off loading ---Maintain, up-date company and customer manuals and documentation ---Keep up to-date with subordinate load planners certifications and annual recertifications ---Train and certify new load planners on their assigned duties associated with the individual carrier Load Planner certification. ---Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities ---Report any irregularity and take appropriate action ---Attend and contribute to internal meetings ---Comply with company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies ---Conduct safety meetings/briefings ---Liaise with OCC regarding daily workforce requirements ---Perform daily/weekly audits ---Build and maintain good management/workforce relations
--- Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Competencies --- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred ---Minimum 2 years leadership experience ---Minimum one year experience in ramp service or related field ---Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure ---Knowledge about operation of Ground Service Equipment ---Must possess strong organizational and multi tasking skills ---Effective verbal and written communication skills ---Must be able to work in all weather conditions ---Valid Driver's License, DA and Transport Security Clearance ---Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays -All Rights Reserved.2021 -Swissport International AG.
