Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed Occupational Therapist is needed to support K-12 students across an itinerant service model in Eastern Colorado. This contract position offers the opportunity to work primarily onsite with flexibility to complete paperwork, planning, and IEP meetings remotely if desired. The assignment runs through March 23, 2026, providing stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact in multiple school districts. Location: Simla, CO (with travel across Eastern Colorado) Key Responsibilities: Provide direct OT services to students across various school settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools Collaborate with educators and family members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Serve an itinerant caseload, traveling between schools such as Burlington ES, Limon HS/MS, Arickaree, and others Balance in-person therapy with remote administrative duties as preferred Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license with school-based experience preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently in multiple locations Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care across districts Flexibility in travel within the Eastern Colorado region Commitment to fostering student growth and development through therapeutic interventions Benefits and Perks: Work from home flexibility for paperwork and planning tasks Exposure to various school environments and student needs Supportive collaborative network within educational settings Opportunity to serve a vital role in student success across multiple communities This role requires onsite presence with flexibility for remote administrative work if needed.
