Home Instead CAREGivers provide a variety of personal care services that allow seniors to remain in their homes.--These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead CAREGivers help Clients and their familiesmeet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.Benefits:

Guaranteed Hours: This position guarantees that you will be paid for a minimum of 36 hours per week. Guaranteed Wage: All Guaranteed Hours will be paid based on current CAREGiver pay wage. Health Care Benefits: Full-Time CAREGivers are eligible for health insurance after six (6) months Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Leave: You will accrue 80 hours of paid PTO per year Weekly Schedule: Receive your schedule on a weekly basis from the Scheduling Department Professional CAREGiver Responsibilities:

Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life.Accurately document services provided using log notes in the home and report any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditions. Run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a client's vehicle as required.Maintain eligibility requirements for Guaranteed Hours position. Adhere to one's Availability Form for at least 90 days (every quarter) without change. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned including but not limited to: Companionship Plus services which may include:

--Providing companionship, meal preparation and medication reminders-- Performing light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)Standby assistance with dressing, showering, toileting, and walkingRunning errands and accompanying the Client to appointmentsPersonal Care services which may include:

--Hands-on assistance with bathing,grooming, dressing and incontinence careHands-on assistance with transfers including use of a gait beltSpecialized Care--services which may include:

--Providing care to CouplesManaging difficult behaviorsUse of assistive devices, like a Hoyer Lift, to assist with transfersEssential Requirements:

Must be able to lift, push or pull 25lbs as well as bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reachMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively in-person and on the phoneMust have use of a car and possess & maintain the following: Valid Driver's License, Current Car Insurance and Car RegistrationMust have regular access to the internet or smart phone to retrieve your online scheduleMust be willing to work with any client regardless of client type (male, female), condition, location, personal care needs, hospice, special circumstances, or challenging behavior Must be willing to drive to see a client in any part of our South Denver & Littleton service territory (no exceptions). Must be available on weekends (Days Off will be based on CAREGiver Availability)Regarding COVID19, the Company continues to practice and reinforce the several precautions it has in place.--All necessary PPE will continue to be provided to both CAREGivers and Clients and the Company continues to reduce the number of CAREGivers per Client per Week. CAREGivers also complete a survey prior to each Client Visit to prevent Symptomatic Spread. Home Instead has not and is not currently accepting Clients that have tested Positive for COVID19.Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
