The Director of Information Technology is responsible and
accountable for the smooth running of our technology systems
including computer (desktop, server, cloud, mobile), software,
network, and technology systems within the limits of requirements,
specifications, costs, and timelines. The Director of Information
Technology will oversee the team in the areas of systems
implementations, integrations, maintenance, data management,
systems architecture, vulnerability management and system
governance. The successful candidate will have a proven
professional track record, and a detailed knowledge of industry
best practices and cyber security awareness. This role is hands-on,
leading while working side by side with your team.Essential
ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance
to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade
requirements, and other metrics and needs. Research and recommend
new products based on analysis, make recommendations to business
decision-makers, and lead the effective delivery of new systems,
products, and processes Lead efforts to improve IT processes to
achieve business goals, minimize security risk and increase user
satisfactionCoordinating IT activities to ensure data availability
and network services with as little downtime as necessary; Develops
and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption
to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data
lossManage the internal IT team and any IT contractors; including
supervisors, system administrators, developers, security analysts,
support technicians and vendorsProblem Management - Investigate and
resolve problems involving complex systems and document results
(Root Cause Analysis)Oversee Change Management activities Maintain
company hardware and software programsImplement company-wide
technology updates and conduct user trainingOverseeing departmental
finances, including budgeting, and forecasting with Vice
PresidentEvaluate the company's adherence to federal technology
requirements for security Maintain our corporate SOC2 certification
and leverage NIST Standards: Implement and maintain best practices
and procedures; maintain system & configuration documentation, user
guides and troubleshooting. Update and expand IT security policies
that cover data access, devices, incident response, and other
issuesOversee and coordinate security efforts across the company,
including information technology, cloud operations, engineering,
processional services, human resources, finance, and other
groups
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a related field, Master's Degree
preferred10+ years of IT and Security experience, with at least 5+
years of managerial experience5+ years of technical architecture
experience or in-depth consulting and implementation
experienceExtensive experience with Microsoft operating systems,
Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Active DirectoryAdvanced communication
(written, verbal and presentation) skills, to deliver complex
information effectively and align people with the needs of the
project/team.Proven ability to create and implement strategic
planning and direction while delivering on resultsFamiliar with
information security principles and best practices (e.g., ISO27001,
SOC 2, NIST CSF and ISF Standards of Good Practice for Information
Security) and can translate these to a variety of non-technical
audiences for understanding and adoption.Possess strong influencing
skills to educate and shift the security tolerances of the company,
executives, employees, vendors, and partnersExperience in
Cloud/Hybrid environments and SaaS environments Salary will be
based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills,
and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external
equity. The pay range and benefits offered for this position is
expected to be: 120,000-160,000Health care benefits, company paid
