HCA Healthcare, a leading healthcare services provider, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll provide essential lactation support and education to new mothers across our extensive network of facilities. You'll work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to promote breastfeeding best practices and ensure the health and wellbeing of both mother and child. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of families while upholding the high standards of care that HCA Healthcare is known for. Assess and support the lactation needs of mothers and infants under your care. Educate mothers on breastfeeding techniques and benefits. Develop and implement lactation programs and services in accordance with the latest guidelines. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and educational measures. Stay updated with the latest breastfeeding research and practices. In-depth knowledge of breastfeeding techniques and the anatomy and physiology of lactation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
