Job Summary and Qualifications As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation across a variety of care settings. The Respiratory Practitioner II provides for the implementation and coordination of Respiratory Care procedures based upon the Policies and Procedures of the Respiratory Care Department. - You will performance of all routine respiratory procedures the Respiratory Practitioner will be responsible for special procedures, within his/her scope of practice - You will be maintaining and improving clinical competence, practicing universal precautions, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, - You will provide consultation, collaboration and education to the medical staff, multi-disciplinary care team members, and patients/families. - You will embrace and consistently demonstrate Swedish Memorable Care initiatives, encompassing both patients and employees. Position Requirements - NBRC accredited RRT credential or CRT if grandfathered in Current Colorado Respiratory License - Current BLS - ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC required. - PALS is preferred. - NRP is preferred - Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist Program - 6 months previous experience HCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region, offers more than 170 care sites in the Denver-metro area.
