Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a pillar of HealthONE network, is
seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Interventional
Radiology team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for a
compassionate professional who excels in a fast-paced,
technologically advanced environment. As a nurse in interventional
radiology, you will provide critical nursing care for patients
undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
Our state-of-the-art facilities and patient-centered approach
ensure that you have the best tools and support necessary to
deliver exceptional care. Assess patient condition before, during,
and after procedures, administering appropriate care. Collaborate
with radiologists and other healthcare team members to plan and
evaluate treatment plans. Monitor patients for changes in status
and indications of conditions such as infections or side effects of
medication. Operate and monitor imaging and other equipment in a
safe and effective manner. Educate patients and families on
procedures, recovery, and follow-up care. Maintain detailed records
of patient care and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
Strong technical skills with radiology imaging and monitoring
equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in
emergency situations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Certification
in Radiology Nursing (CRN) is desirable but not required.
