Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Registered Nurse for our Acute Assessment Unit (AAU). This role
is pivotal in delivering high-standard medical care in a dynamic
hospital setting. Our AAU Registered Nurses are crucial in
assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and
providing direct care with the support of cutting-edge medical
technology and a collaborative healthcare team. This position
offers the opportunity to work in a compassionate environment that
is focused on community well-being and innovative healthcare
solutions. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and
implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease
prevention or provide case management. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Operate medical
equipment, perform diagnostic tests, and administer treatments.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide
treatment. Supervise less skilled nursing or healthcare personnel
or supervise a particular unit. Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in the use of medical software and equipment Ability to
work effectively in high-pressure environments Critical thinking
and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Utah Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
