Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Registered Nurse for our Mom Baby Postpartum unit. This role is
pivotal in providing exemplary care to mothers and their newborns
following delivery. As a valued member of our team, you will work

healthcare. Our nurses are equipped with state-of-the-art

and adapt to innovative practices, ensuring that both mother and
baby receive the highest quality of care. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their
newborns. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs including
physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs. Educate and
support mothers on baby care, lactation, and postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare
professionals to provide coordinated care. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure
patient safety and adherence to healthcare regulations and
standards. Strong clinical skills in postpartum, neonatal, and
maternity care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Ability to
work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification required. Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) certification preferred.
