This role is pivotal in assisting occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans that help improve residents' ability to perform daily living and working tasks, thereby enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver top-tier care in a supportive and uplifting environment. Assist occupational therapists in developing treatment plans based on the residents' needs and goals. Help carry out effective therapeutic programs to improve patients' functional abilities. Document patients’ progress and communicate findings with the occupational therapist. Maintain and ensure proper usage and conditions of therapy equipment. Educate patients and families about home programs and discharge planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to follow treatment plans. Deep understanding of healthcare policies and safety guidelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to patient needs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Current CPR certification.
