Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery (L&D) Birth Center or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to work night shifts. This position provides a critical role in delivering the highest quality of care for both neonates and mothers. Our RNs are essential to our mission of providing patient-centered care and are supported with the latest in medical technology and continued education opportunities. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to neonates and mothers based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate patient records. Participate in the development and modification of care plans in conjunction with other health care team members. Administer medications and perform routine procedures according to hospital policy. Advise and support patients’ families in postnatal and neonatal care best practices. Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control procedures. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to operate and monitor specialized neonatal equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic medical record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or willingness to obtain BLS/CPR certification required
