UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system, seeks a dedicated Travel RN specializing in Burn Trauma to deliver skilled and compassionate care at our state-of-the-art facilities across Colorado. This position involves using advanced medical knowledge and skills to treat patients suffering from burn injuries and trauma, ensuring a high standard of care in a supportive and dynamic environment. Key duties include assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance recovery processes. Assess patient health problems and needs specifically related to burn injuries and trauma. Develop and implement nursing care plans for burn trauma patients. Maintain medical records and monitor patient conditions continuously. Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Educate patients and family members about injury management and recovery processes. Participate in ongoing education to stay current with the latest practices in burn trauma care. Expertise in burn care and trauma nursing. Ability to operate medical equipment used in burn care treatments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of resilience and ability to handle emotional stress. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado. Certification in Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) preferred.
