Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a pivotal part of HealthONE, invites
applications for the position of Registered Nurse in our Neuro
Trauma unit. This role demands a committed and compassionate
professional dedicated to supporting our mission of delivering
exceptional patient-centered care. As a Registered Nurse in our
state-of-the-art Neuro Trauma unit, you will work in a dynamic
environment using cutting-edge technologies and practices to
provide top-tier medical care to patients suffering from
neurological traumas. You will join a team of dedicated health care
professionals that thrives on providing the best medical care while
continually improving treatment techniques. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms
or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate patient
medical records and monitor patient vitals. Formulate nursing plans
and evaluate medical interventions. Administer medications, manage
intravenous lines, and assist in surgery or other medical
procedures. Collaborate with other health care professionals to
plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Educate patients and
their families on disease prevention and health promotion.
Excellent ability to manage and sustain high-stress situations.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
(sanitation, decontamination, etc.) Superb interpersonal and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Certification in Neurological Care (CNRN)
preferred.
