Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel RN to
join our Mom Baby unit for night shifts. This role requires
managing postpartum and neonatal care, ensuring the health and
safety of both mothers and their newborns. The chosen candidate
will thrive in a dynamic environment and be committed to providing
the highest level of patient-centered care. Provide direct nursing
care in a diverse healthcare setting to mothers and newborns after
delivery. Assess, plan, and implement postpartum and neonatal care
plans. Educate and support mothers and families on newborn care and
recovery. Ensure the safety and well-being of the mother and baby
during the hospital stay. Collaborate with obstetricians,
pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals. Document patient
care services by charting in patient and department records. Strong
clinical skills with a focus on maternal and neonatal care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to
function well in a fast-paced and potentially stressful
environment. Experience with electronic medical record systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or
eligible for compact licensure. BLS/CPR certification required. NRP
certification preferred.
