Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit health system in Colorado, is
seeking a dedicated RN to join our Acute Care Surgery team for
night shifts. This position is critical in delivering exceptional
patient-centered care in a dynamic surgical setting. As an RN in
acute care surgery, you will work closely with surgical
professionals to manage care for patients undergoing acute surgical
procedures. This role requires a commitment to enhancing patient
outcomes through superior clinical practices and personalized
patient care tailored to individual recovery needs. Assist in
surgical procedures and provide post-operative care. Monitor
patient vital signs and recovery, adjusting care plans as directed
by the medical team. Administer medications and maintain accurate
patient records. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families
on post-hospital care and recovery strategies. Ensure compliance
with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong
clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in
high-pressure situations Proficient in using medical software for
patient management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of
Colorado BLS/CPR certified ACLS certification desirable
