Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, part of HealthONE, invites qualified
candidates to apply for the position of Registered Nurse OR Service
Line Lead for our ENT and Urology departments. This pivotal role
supports our commitment to providing top-notch, patient-centered
care by managing and leading surgical services within the ENT and
Urology specialties. A successful candidate will ensure optimal
patient outcomes, efficient use of resources, and the highest
standards of safety and compliance. This role requires a blend of
clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep commitment to
enhancing patient care through innovative practices. Oversee the
daily operations of the operating rooms specific to ENT and
Urology. Implement and monitor compliance with all regulatory,
safety, and hospital policies. Supervise and mentor OR nursing
staff, providing training and development opportunities. Coordinate
with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals
to ensure high-quality surgical care. Manage resource allocation
effectively, including staff scheduling, equipment procurement, and
maintenance. Participate in the development of departmental goals
and objectives and monitor achievement of these targets. Lead
quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within
the service line. Expert knowledge of ENT and Urology surgical
procedures. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficient
in using medical software for patient information and departmental
management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state
of employment. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
