Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Orthopedic and Spine care to
join our reputed HealthONE team. This weekend-only position caters
to a dynamic environment focusing on patients undergoing orthopedic
and spinal surgeries. The role requires expertise in patient care
management, working closely with orthopedists and neurosurgeons,
implementing recovery plans, and ensuring the best outcomes for our
patients. Our state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team
environment provide a unique opportunity for professional growth
and learning in a specialized field. Assess patient health problems
and needs specific to orthopedic and spinal conditions. Develop and
implement nursing care plans for surgical orthopedic and spine
patients. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan,
implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and patient health records. Advise patients on
health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case
management. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in
patients' conditions. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
orthopedic and spine health. Proficiency in using medical software
for patient care management. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of
practice. BLS/ACLS certification. Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC)
preferred but not required.
