Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN)
for our Emergency Department (ED) Fellowship Program, specifically
for the night shift. This position is designed for RNs who wish to
specialize in emergency care. The fellowship offers comprehensive,
structured training and mentorship to prepare nurses for a career
in one of the most demanding areas of healthcare. Our ideal
candidate will thrive in high-pressure environments and demonstrate
a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Provide high-quality
care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with
the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments
as prescribed. Monitor patient response to treatment and modify
plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on treatment
plans and health management post-discharge. Maintain accurate
patient records and document all care provided. Participate
actively in emergency department meetings and fellow training.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in
emergency scenarios. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic
health records. Capability to perform well under stress and
maintain composure during critical situations. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certifications required.
