be considered. A unique opportunity is available for an experienced
Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac/CVICU critical care in
Florissant, MO. This contract position focuses on providing
exceptional nursing care in a short-term acute care setting with a
renowned Magnet and Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital. Nurses with
at least two years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience are sought for a
16-week contract (13 weeks considered) working a 1:2
nurse-to-patient ratio. Schedule/Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (36
guaranteed) Night shift: Four 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Qualifications and
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience (no
neuro ICU) Valid RN license (pending licenses accepted) BSN
preferred Certifications required: ACLS, BLS Experience with
ventilator management, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheter
monitoring, pacemakers, intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs,
Impellas, vasoactive drips, central lines, dialysis, and more Must
pass a Relias EKG exam Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive
nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients including those
with heart failure, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, and
post-cardiac arrest care Monitor and manage advanced cardiac
support devices and therapies Collaborate effectively within the
cardiac ICU team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Float within service line as needed, staying within scope of
