Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Englewood, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,693 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Seasonal Travel RN - Ortho Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Independent taking care of 5 patients Experience in a surgical unit Description: This position is for a seasonal travel Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic Surgery. The unit has 20 beds and operates with a nursing ratio of 1:5. Day shifts include 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses, while night shifts also have 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses. The unit utilizes EMR software for patient management. Typical procedures performed on the unit include dressing changes and aspirations. Preferred candidates will have pain management experience and orthopedic experience. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a team player. The team is dedicated to providing excellent patient experiences and quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including elective orthopedic and trauma patients.
