Job Description:

As a Maintenance Electrician at Cargill, you will be an integral component of our food, agriculture, financial, and industrial services. Your role is critically aligned with our mission to sustain and nourish the global community, ensuring efficient and safe operations in our processing facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operational standards. By contributing to the maintenance of our electrical systems, you play a direct role in enhancing productivity and minimizing downtime within our production lines. Inspect, maintain, and repair various electrical systems within the facility, including motors, control systems, and complex wiring. Collaborate with the operations team to perform preventative maintenance and ensure minimal disruption to production. Conduct continuous monitoring of all electrical equipment, identifying and mitigating potential faults before they escalate. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies and help to enforce safe working conditions and practices within the plant. Document repair actions, maintaining clear and accurate records of maintenance work. Proven ability in electrical troubleshooting and repair. Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics. Experience with industrial electrical systems, including high voltage systems. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal electrical safety regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
