Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Assoc Nurse Manager for our Labor
and Delivery (L&D) Birth Center. This role is pivotal in
managing nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for
both mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate will possess a blend
of clinical expertise and managerial skills to oversee all aspects
of nursing operations within the birth center. This position offers
an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes

Oversee daily operations within the L&D unit, ensuring
compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
Supervise nursing staff and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and
professional development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure the provision
of patient-centered care that meets quality standards. Manage
staffing needs, including scheduling, hiring, and evaluating staff
performance. Lead initiatives to improve patient safety,
satisfaction, and service quality. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in clinical and nursing practice standards Adept
in managing budgets and resources Ability to handle high-stress
environments effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification desired
