Job Description Job Description Position Purpose Support the Estimating Department at Campbell Beard Roofing, one of Denver’s longest established roofing companies. Ideal Candidate Qualities Aptitude for learning new systems Strong math and computer skills Professional communication (email and phone) Ability to visualize objects in 3D from blueprints Attention to detail Training Provided The company will train the right candidate to use their estimating systems . Core Responsibilities Learn and execute estimation and sales administration Bid new work and ensure compliance with plans/specifications Follow up with customers Essential Skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Ability to learn Excel-based estimating software Strong computer aptitude Specific Duties Gather proposals, prints, specifications, and related documents for estimates Produce accurate quantity and cost estimates using take-off software and spreadsheets Review and interpret construction documents to assemble bid proposals Generate value engineering ideas to reduce project costs without compromising quality or schedule Required Skills Read and comprehend construction drawings/specifications Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills Time management and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication Self-motivation and project completion ability Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting pay (based on experience) Health & dental insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and sick pay 401K retirement plan Company Description We are a subcontractor, whose main customers are new home builders and apartments/townhome general contractors.
