neurodivergencies and challenging behaviors, and their families in
the development of skills needed to achieve personal life-long
goals with techniques grounded in Applied Behavioral Analysis that
embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping to create a world
where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full
potential. Job Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
reports directly to the RBT Coordinator and is responsible for
supporting and implementing a client care plan created by a
Board-certified Behavior Analyst. The RBT will provide ABA
interventions that support the client’s needs while also teaching
socially acceptable replacement behaviors that build upon and
improve a range of developmental skills, including but not limited
to communication, social, academic, and other life skills.
Responsibilities: Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group
settings, including schools, community, home, and center Implement
skill acquisition targets as outlined in each client’s plan
Implement behavior reduction and functionally equivalent
replacement behavior procedures as written in each client’s plan
Collect data on individualized programs and provide service logs
documenting how services were delivered through Rethink Assist
behavior analysts with assessments, questionnaires, and interviews
when necessary Assist behavior analysts in the preparation of
client materials Use sound judgment and seek appropriate
consultation from supervisor to ensure treatment is provided
safely, accurately, and without disruption to clients, others, and
the environment Effectively communicate with parents/caregivers
regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA Utilize safe and
appropriate handling and guidance procedures when working with
clients when problem behaviors arise Practice self-reflection and
seek/accept feedback from others to improve work performance and
workflow Collaborate with others to improve workflow, employee
performance, and overcome challenges that impact employees and
clients Adapt to changing client, environmental, and organizational
needs as well as special circumstances using sound decision-making
and professional decorum Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or
equivalent (a 2 or 4 year degree in a related field is preferred
(e.g., special education, psychology) Available to work at least 10
hours per week at least three (3) days per week Clean background
check Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto
insurance BLS/CPR certified (preferred) RBT certification
