Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver (ACAND)-Brighton, CO
FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Student Services Work
Days: Part-time at 2-days per week (12-15 hours per week) Salary
Range: $45 to $54 per hour Hiring now for 2026-27 School Year
Position summary : This role involves developing and managing
individualized educational program plans, providing therapy in
individual and group settings, and collaborating with families,
caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' progress.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology,
has or is eligible for Colorado licensure, and preferably holds
ASHA certification. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive

environment. Essential Functions Conduct thorough assessments and
evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
based on client needs Manage Speech only identified student
programs Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group
settings, adapting methods to best meet client progress Collaborate
with family members, caregivers, and other health professionals to
support the overall treatment plan Maintain accurate and detailed
client records, documenting progress, challenges, and adjustments
to treatment Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
meetings and other school or team-related discussions when required
Provide consultation and training to caregivers, educators, and
other relevant stakeholders Complete all required training and
provide documentation as well as official college transcripts
within 90 days of hire date Demonstrate consistent and reliable
attendance by adhering to assigned work hours, reporting on time,
and following proper procedures for absences or tardiness to ensure
minimal disruption to students, colleagues, and school operations
Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English to
effectively perform their job responsibilities and communicate in
the workplace Perform other duties as assigned Required
Skills/Abilities: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or
Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Colorado state SLP
licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA), preferred Previous experience in a school
setting preferred, with an understanding of classical education
values and practices being a plus Ability to work effectively with
diverse student populations and collaborate with parents, teachers,
and administrators Excellent communication, problem-solving, and
organizational skills Knowledge of state and federal laws related
to special education and mental health services Strong ethical
standards and professionalism Commitment to fostering a positive
and inclusive school environment Commitment to the policies,
mission, and vision of Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools Inc
Commitment to high moral character necessary to sustain ordered
liberty and constitutional self-government Knowledge of classical
education (or the willingness and desire to learn) Excellent
interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the
ability to effectively articulate information and issues Proven
ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment,
superior organization, and computer skills Ability to develop
positive and professional relationships with team members
Willingness to complete other related duties as requested Physical
Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Must be able to
traverse the classroom and adjust one's tone and height by bending
or leaning in order to work with each child Prolonged periods of
sitting at a desk, working on a computer, or standing Must be able
to supervise outdoor duties Mandatory Background Checks: In
