Job Description:

We are a cannabis company seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our team. We offer a competitive package that includes base pay and commissions. This is an opportunity to join a small but fast-growing company with a meaningful share of the Colorado cannabis vape market, and an increasing share of the cannabis edibles market. Licensing and expansion into other states is in progress. Candidates must be enthusiastic, organized, and familiar with the cannabis industry or have equivalent knowledge. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for representing our company and our products to licensed cannabis retailers. They will work as part of a sales team to execute sales strategies, brand position strategies, and business development strategies to maximize sales. The role reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Director. Primary ResponsibilitiesGrow the retailer base and overall sales volume in your territory by generating new leads and increasing existing retailer salesBuild and manage relationships and develop strong rapport with customer retail buyers, management and sales staff on behalf of the companyPromote product placement and work with retailers to secure high visibility placement for products and displaysImplement sales plans and coordinate sales efforts with marketing plansDaily maintenance of CRM tool and ordering platformHost in store pop up events for in-store consumer education and promotional eventsHost budtender training eventsCoordinate with sales team to develop and execute promotions and sales contestsMaintain expert level knowledge of our brand, products, and technologiesMaintain expert level knowledge of our competitors' products and brand positionsGrow our community profile by representing company at trade/industry events to promote productsMeet or exceed sales goals Experience and Core Competencies5+ years of relevant professional sales experience, and 2+ years of experience in the Colorado cannabis industryProven ability to effectively communicate and present ideas Proven ability to effectively work as part of a sales teamProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeProven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of various company productsProven ability to position our products against competitorsStrategic thinking, problem solving/analysisCustomer-focus mindsetResults driven Other RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in sales, business administration, marketing or other relevant focusMust be willing and able to obtain an MED Badge issued by the State of ColoradoMust comply with all cannabis rules and regulations Must be authorized to work in the United StatesMust have a valid driver license and use of own vehicle for frequent travelTravel will be required within all regions within the state of Colorado depending on business needsAbility to use advanced features of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and Outlook Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days will vary due to business needs. Some holidays and weekends maybe required. Will be required to be on call and to respond to urgent situations at any time. Expected Compensation The Territory Sales Representative is reasonably expected to earn between $40,000 - 80,000 annually to start. Compensation will increase in accordance with company growth, sales performance, and personal performance. Second year earnings should be between $80,000 - 120,000.
