The Vice President of Sales will have a key role in Glo Skin Beauty's leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for driving sales success through Glo's outside sales field team, inside sales team, and corporate accounts. Guided by Glo's growth and profitability goals, the Vice President of Sales will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that we have the proper plans, people and systems in place to grow sales and create future market success via multiple channels. In addition, the Vice President Sales is a hands-on manager responsible for leading and coaching our regional sales managers in order to develop and implement tactics to achieve established B2B sales targets. Essential duties of the Vice President of Sales Drive sales growth across inside and outside sales teams: drive new and existing wholesale business growth in U.S. and Canada through outside sales team in six regions; drive new business and existing business growth across white space and open territories through inside sales team; establish KPIs for performance and productivity; strive for continuous improvements in B2B sales skills and goal achievement of team; leverage best practices in sales skill training to support professional growth of team. Drive sales growth through corporate accounts: develop strategy and objectives for corporate sales growth; identify and pursue prospective corporate account opportunities; maintain positive corporate account relationships and lead strategic planning for their expansion; partner with Vice President of Marketing to elevate Glo brand positioning in corporate account market. Provide sales leadership across channels: lead, coach, and manage the U.S. and Canada Regional Managers and Manager of International and Inside Sales; develop leadership skill set among sales management team; provide strategic direction, develop sales objectives, identify new market/channel opportunities and develop strategies for them; analyze market and company trends and data to make recommendations for improving results; balance the short and long range objectives of the Company, achieving quarterly and annual sales and EBITDA objectives while implementing longer range plans consistent with Glo's strategic and financial goals and overall company mission; manage sales budget, oversee sales forecasting; attend quarterly Board meetings; establish and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with key customers and personally take on the responsibility for building new major account relationships, seeking out new business opportunities, and networking on a daily basis. Represent the Glo brand positively: share your passion for skincare and mineral makeup products with enthusiasm; ensure a strong working knowledge of our full product portfolio and ability to clearly promote our products' value; demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to feedback; communicate clearly and respond to clients and Glo colleagues in a timely and professional manner; serve as a role model for Glo sales staff in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits; foster a success-oriented culture; collaborate with other departments (Education, Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources) to empower the success of initiatives for the sales team; adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Other duties: Manage other sales-related projects as needed. Serve as executive sponsor of other company projects as needed. Collaborate with other corporate departments to drive or support new initiatives. Job qualifications: 5 years of experience in a national level or executive sales leadership role with a proven track record of growth, ideally with experience in a wholesale B2B organization. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field preferred. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including motivating others, providing feedback, utilizing different approaches depending on the situation and employee. Ease both working at a high strategic level as well as tactical, detailed level. Ability to influence and motivate large, cross-functional teams to get complex sales projects delivered on-time, with an out-of-box, creative approach. Experience training and developing skills in others, coaching sales staff to success, communicating clearly, demonstrating best-practice selling skills, and teaching staff how to use a consultative approach to sales. Experience in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships as well as fostering positive internal relationships with Glo colleagues. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Efficient organizational and administrative skills to complete sales management tasks. Ability to function independently, manage time and resources effectively, and adjust behaviors to meet and exceed sales goals. Proven focus on results and sense of urgency. Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite, internet browsers, and ability to use a tablet/mobile phone. Strongly preferred experience: Demonstrated success in coaching inside and outside sales representatives strongly preferred Professional experience in wholesale consumer packaged goods or professional beauty industry strongly preferred M.B.A. or other business education desired. Working Conditions: Travel by car and by plane as often as needed, including overnight stays internationally as required Regular travel to attend regional or national meetings, other training events, and/or Board meetings Work may occur before/after normal business hours Physical activities include driving, lifting products in/out of vehicles, carrying boxes, listening and speaking with clients, demonstrating product use, using tablet and mobile phone Please note this is a full time employment within our organization and is not a multilevel sales opportunity.
