Donor Sales Representative

Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under minimal supervision, the incumbent is responsible for achieving annual and monthly territorial goals through effective donor recruitment and territory, account and calendar management. The representative in this position is focused on building awareness ofthe organization's brand and mission to support the growth and development ofthe fixed-site donor centers. The individual serves as a liaison between thecompany and the communities we serve by building relationships withorganizations and individuals, conducting educational outreach andpresentations, securing strategic partnerships, recruiting donors, networkingand community development. The individual is responsible for donor growth anddevelopment in eight key markets: Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver West,Highlands Ranch, Lowry, Parker, Southwest Littleton, and Westminster. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Schedules blood drives within center-established guidelines to achieve monthly and annual goals and projection accuracy. Directs, trains, and motivates volunteer blood drive coordinators and committee members to ensure successful blood drives. Develops new donor sources. Maintains an ongoing public and media relations program in assigned territory. Develops an annual recruitment plan for meeting assigned collection goals. Prepare, assess and respond to monthly forecast information. Develops and maintains donor recognition programs in assigned territory. Follows established sales/recruitment process (including projection accuracy); maintains and ensures accuracy and timeliness of account information. Builds relationships with external departments and internal staff. Communicates effectively to coordinate blood drives and in-center activities. Represents the Company through personal contacts, public speaking engagements and educational presentations. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge/ Education Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience required. Skills/Abilities Effective oral and written communication skills. Sales/territory management skills. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter with good organization skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Provide own vehicle for transportation and possess a valid driver's license. Proficient personal computer skills. Experience One year related experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with fundraising, non-profit, community outreach, in-kind marketing/advertising, and strategic partnerships strongly preferred. Comfortable with technology. Independent performer with ability to track and report progress in timely manner. Goal oriented, proactive, and strategic thinker. Sales/Marketing experience with social media, web / media content. Additional information: This position is a full-time exempt employment opportunity.
