Job Description:
Shamrock Foods Company, a premier family-owned food products and
restaurant supplies distributor since 1922, is seeking a dynamic
District Sales Manager to join our Sales & Business Development
team. This role is vital in driving the growth and expansion of our
market share in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for managing sales operations within their
assigned district, developing strategic sales plans, and leading a
team of sales representatives to achieve business targets. This
position requires a proven leader with a passion for delivering
outstanding customer service and the ability to foster strong,
lasting relationships with both new and existing customers. Develop
and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals
accordingly. Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential
and inventory requirements. Monitor and evaluate the activities and
products of the competition. Recruit, train, supervise, and
evaluate department staff. Manage customer service issues to
maintain an excellent service standard. Prepare periodic sales
reports showing sales volume and potential sales. Proven ability to
drive and increase sales performance. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships. Proficient
in data analysis and sales planning. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional sales
management certification (e.g., Certified Sales Leadership
Professional from the Sales Management Association) is preferred
but not required.
