Job Description:
Responsible for establishing, selling, servicing and maintaining
ProDealer accounts in support of the corporate growth objective. In
addition, responsible for developing strategies, programs and
promotions that will result in significant product sales growth
with Pella's ProDealer accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: (Other
duties may be assigned)
Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success. Act as
the point of contact with the corporate office and key regional
field leadership.
Responsible for ensuring each corporate ProDealer account receives
the appropriate level of account management service in support of
establishing an ongoing/long-term relationship with this customer.
Ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction is
maintained.
Responsible for achieving projected sales results from identified
accounts resulting in improved national market penetration. Lead
the development of program and promotions. Negotiate program
elements including pricing, volume rebate and coop program, and
marketplace growth initiatives with the accounts/
Responsible for proper communication and market location focus
internally and externally. This includes ensuring that the
relationships between PDSN, ProDealers and Pella Corporation all
remain positive.
Collaborate with field sales team leadership to develop programs
and ensure strong execution of account programs.
Builds relationships and collaborates with cross functional teams
and external customers to develop, manage and drive account
programs and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Five to 10 years prior direct field sales experience with specific
experience selling to national/large volume building material
accounts is required. General account management experience is
preferred.

Strategic Thinking, and Communication
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and
statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry
and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Cognos Query.
