Position: Inside Sales Representative - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Salary Range: $45,000 starting base salary with Target Bonus of $12,000 ($1,000/month) - Year 1 Target Compensation of $57,000About us: -The Key People (TKP) is a commercial janitorial service founded in 1973. We are largely a sales, marketing, and administrative company consisting of a small group of sales representatives, customer service representatives and accounting personnel dedicated to building long term relationships with our clients and cleaning contractors. TKP partners with small, local janitorial business owners to clean buildings that we obtain contracts for. - -If you want to work in a low-stress but high-growth workplace, where the Company cares about you, then TKP is the place. We will help you grow professionally and personally and allow for your unique qualities to flourish.The Inside Sales representative will be responsible for generating leads for the field sales representatives in various territories. This will involve cold calling, researching and contacting potential customers, scheduling appointments for quotes for cleaning services, maintaining an active list of prospects, updating the CRM with new opportunities, and generally helping the Company to grow its revenue, in accordance with the company policies and procedures. -This is a new position within the Company, so the successful candidate will have the ability to tailor the job function to meet their needs, as well as the needs of the Company. If you get excited about something new, and making it your own, this is the job for you! -ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties:

Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, dormant or lost accounts and other sources.Create, implement, and execute inside sales initiatives.Support lead generation for outside sales representatives.Investigate, develop, and implement upselling opportunities, service inquiries and sales support.Provide support for customer service related functions.Data entry where needed.Confidence to engage customer requests and fulfill customer needs with urgency.Other duties as assigned.CULTURAL TRAITS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Passionate and positive "can do" attitude, willing to learn, to teach and to be a change agent within the company.An ability to work within a team environment and help the team become better.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office products.Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at once.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, sales team members, and managers.Working knowledge of HubSpot preferred, or any other CRM system.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
