Our Middle Market department is seeking a Commercial Lines L eader of Middle Market Underwriting to join our growing team in Colorado and Arizona. Position summary: Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriting leader is responsible for driving Middle Market production and profitability.
This is a Full-time, Exempt role.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement strategies for commercial lines based on current trends, underwriting results, opportunities and directives.
• Establish and implement sound underwriting guidelines and pricing programs consistent with company policy and goals.
• Participate in the development of branch strategy and business plans.
• Monitor performance of Commercial Lines staff in achieving established goals. Requirements:
  • 7-10 years' experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting.
  • Prior supervisory/management experience of 0-5 years
  • Strong communications, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, risk selection methods and pricing.
