About the JobThe Outside Sales Representative is responsible for exceeding sales activity targets and overall revenue targets within their assigned territory. They are responsible for having up to date and full product knowledge and presenting that information and themselves to current and prospective customers with a level of professionalism consistent with the Cirrus brand in-person, as well as in written and phone communications.
Outside Sales representatives are responsible for updating and documenting their activities in the company's CRM system. They will drive sales opportunities through weekly cold-calling, door to door visits, rotary/chamber meetings or other avenues to showcase our hardware and software capabilities in person.

Job Duties

  • Align performance to assigned KPI goals individually and for your team
  • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new customers based within an assigned sales territory.
  • Drive sales opportunities through weekly cold-calling, door to door visits and rotary/chamber meetings to showcase our hardware and software capabilities.
  • Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement projects when you see the potential to eliminate waste
  • Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings.
  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
  • Establish rapport with multi-level buyers including executive level decision makers
  • Consultative relationship development with a technology based sales process
  • Timely follow up on leads to include phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Maintain accurate CRM KPI's through Odoo and Salesforce
  • Perform additional duties, as assigned

    Skills and Qualifications
    • Ability to learn the sign company business, how they operate and what makes them successful
    • Excellent communication and listening skills, including phone interaction
    • Independent/self-starter; able to take initiative
    • Prior sales success/lead qualification experience a plus
    • Practical knowledge of general technology
    • Working knowledge of GoogleSuite
    • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a track record of success in a focused market
    • Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing
    • Prior experience within sign industry is a plus

      Physical Requirements
      • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
      • Close visual focus required
      • Position requires the use of a keyboard, headset, and laptop for a full work day
      • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
