Regional Sales Executive Job Descriptionwww.assurancelabs.comThis role is responsible for meeting sales growth requirements, increasing marketing share and developing key relationships with physician offices, reference labs and hospitals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: --- Meet and exceed assigned sales quota and sales objectives --- Travel within assigned territory to call on customer base. Maintain active, in-person presence at top accounts --- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, close new business --- Professionally drive a sense of urgency in accounts to increase purchasing decision time --- Effectively manage sales pipeline utilizing HubSpot crm and consistent communication with management and marketing team --- Master all products and applications, present proposals, negotiate pricing --- Build consultative relationships with prospects and end users; maintain positive working relationships with operations team. --- Complete all administrative tasks including weekly call reports, expense reports, new business forms, HubSpot, market feedback, etc. --- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as directed. Attend all regional, divisional and sector events including National Sales Meetings, corporate trainings. --- Maintain required activity level - following established guidelines for number of calls / day/quotes generated and advancement of accounts and # contacts/account pipeline. --- Assist customers with orders and other related service issues --- Responsible for obtaining and keeping up-to-date records for vaccinations, TB tests, flu shots and other medical credentials required by the hospitals and physician offices.DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: --- Utilize technology and data to analyze territory, effectively target accounts and pre-call planning --- Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors and competitive products, etc. --- Interact and develop strong rapport with marketing team, sales operations, Customer Service/Onboarding teams and other internal departments --- Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative's authorityMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: --- Bachelor's Degree --- Working knowledge of medical and diagnostic terminologyEXPERIENCE: --- Minimum of five years of documented medical sales experience-Focus of consultative sales with physician call point. --- Experience with capital and disposable selling process. --- Experience with calling on specialty physician offices such as Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Urgent Cares, and Primary Care --- Ability to establish strong KOL relationships that can support current and future marketing initiatives --- Evidence of top sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management is required --- A demonstrated and documented track record for quota attainment /exceeding sales objectives --- Clean driving record and Valid Driver's License --- Ability to travel domestically and within region often involving overnight staysPREFERRED SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS: --- Documented history of exceeding customer requirements --- Ability to uncover referral patterns and identify leverage points throughout the continuum --- Ability to confidently incorporate an economic argument as a part of the sales processCOMPETENCIES: --- Customer Focus --- Drive for Results --- Business Acumen --- Listening --- Planning --- Presentation Skills --- Priority Setting --- Negotiating --- Interpersonal Savvy --- Problem Solving --- Action Oriented --- Integrity & Trust --- PerseveranceOTHER SKILLS:Effective organizational and motivational skills necessary to perform related dutiesPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
