The role is for an internal, phone-based Partner Sales Executive to support the growth and success of Finstro within direct and third party channels. The unique role will consist of three core functions: (1) onboard and build relationships with assigned referral partners, (2) be responsible for originating, pre-qualifying and closing new business opportunities with end users that are sourced either through allocated channel partners or direct marketing, and (3) is to onboard and nurture initial relationships with clients of the Finstro trade app whether through an enterprise partner or direct.

The Partner Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and portfolio growth objectives. Working as part of a locally based team but capable of succeeding in an autonomous environment, the Partner Sales Executive represents the entire range of company products and services.

An effective internal Partner Sales Executive must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone or via other online mediums, as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prospect and onboard merchants in specific industry verticals
Proven network within the B2B commerce sector and familiarity with finance to leverage existing relationships
Identify new business opportunities by generating and qualifying leads in market.
Contact decision makers and understand their potential requirements.
Be a consultative partner to prospects and customers, with a deep knowledge of their strategic direction and business needs
Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building a value proposition for solutions into the customer
Effectively manage a sales pipeline and reporting
Partner closely with the key internal teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of each merchant partner
Analyse and explore business and market trends and stay updated about new technological developments and trends taking place in the industry

Experience and Skills Required

Minimum 4 years of B2B Sales experience
Finance, Credit or Payment solutions background
Expert negotiation skills and the ability to develop proposals that serve the interest of all parties involved.
Expert interpersonal skills and the willingness to have difficult conversations with people.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in engaging directly with customers and forming relationships.
Advanced financial understanding and budgeting skills.
Knowledge of financial technologies, ERP systems, mobile apps and be comfortable dealing with, talking about and demonstrating technology centric financing solutions
Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks at the same time.
Strong knowledge of industry and market trends.
Ability to travel and deal with remote teams and colleagues working in different time zones.
Comfortable working hands-on in a start-up type environment where infrastructure, processes, systems and work practices are still at various stages of implementation and refinement.

The role will be based on Denver, CO USA. Candidates must be amenable to work in the city and authorized to work in the US.
