Duties and Responsibilities

This position is well regarded and highly visible, reporting to the VP of Operations and collaborating closely with the President to develop/nurture prospects, create proposals and close deals.

Define, develop, and nurture relationships with decision makers in target verticals to
relevant opportunities
Work with the President, Vice President and Account leaders to turn opportunities into proposals and close new engagements with prospects
Develop quarterly and monthly sales activity projections
Execute sales activities to ensure sales pipeline metrics are met and aid Account leaders on client renewals
Collaborate with President and Vice President to ensure sales activity delivers on growth plans and assist with long term growth planning
Deliver accurate proposal and SOW estimates in collaboration with Account leaders, President and Vice President
Maintain and update sales pipeline via HubSpot CRM and other tools as necessary
Provide timely feedback and recommendations on next steps to President and Vice President
Lead new business and networking efforts in collaboration with senior leadership
Map a short-term and long-term path for individual/ personal/ professional growth and development as a member of the WordWrite team that includes the long-term expectation of growing a sales team and leading that team.

Requirements

A minimum of five years of successful professional sales/business development experience
Professional services market knowledge (i.e., selling professional services rather than products)
Previous C suite and SMB client experience
Ability to develop and evolve a proven sales process/methodology, utilizing a lead qualification process to deliver consistent results
Technical sales and communication tools proficiency (HubSpot Sales preferred)

Competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and benefits
