The Marketing and Broker Relations Manager is accountable for driving Medicare Advantage (MA) growth and member growth across Colorado. This position executes on MA growth and retention strategies and builds and maintains strong relationships with the sales broker community. This position reports into the Regional Growth Team but is accountable to the Colorado leadership team to drive results.Job Scope:Job consists of unique and multi-dimensional work situations. Duties are performed independently with minimal supervision and work is verified by results. Decisions are often made within established departmental guidelines, but also by using judgment for the best reasonable outcome. Position has high visibility to Senior Leadership and Executives through direct interaction and reporting. Position works within a highly matrixed organization, working closely with National and Regional teams.If you are located in Colorado, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive MA growth throughout the entire year to meet and/or exceed established member retention and net growth goals during OEP, SEP, and AEP.
  • Promote MA growth throughout the various broker sales channels. Serve as primary point of contact for the company within the broker community, leading contracted and independent broker agency activity within Colorado.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for brokers to meet with employed and affiliated providers.
  • Partner with the employed and affiliated providers to establish a baseline understanding of core offerings and benefits of MA membership. Continually educate providers to support member enrollment and retention.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to strategize, design, and execute community events for current and potential patients.
  • Leverage National Marketing resources, insights, and tools to drive local results.
  • Consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate the company's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with every internal and external customer.
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using a UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.     • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 3 years of insurance sales experience
    • 5 years of growing professional relationships
    • Experience working with broker community

      • Medicare Advantage Sales experience
