Job Description:
Dust City Designs is an extremely fast growing physical product
startup based in Denver, CO. Started in February 2015, Dust City
Designs went from a concept to an award winning multi faceted
manufacturing company in less than 2 years. Dust City Design's main
product line is our Dust City Wood Stickers. This product line has
taken off within the last 5 years to say the least! We currently
have several thousand doors of distribution with this product line.
Additionally, we have product in all REI stores, Scheels,
Wholefoods and will soon be in Target and Dick's Sporting Goods..
On top of all that, we also currently do a ton of work in the Gift
and Souvenir industry. With over 30 product reps throughout the US,
we have doors of distribution in almost every single state. We also
work heavily within the branded product space with a significant
number of distributors. These Wood Stickers have taken off at an
incredible rate and we're looking for the right candidate to take
our sales to the next level.What we're looking for:We are looking
for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join
our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible
for developing new leads, communicating with customers,
understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You
should be able to close sales and meet targets.What exactly will
you be doing:We're still a small company where everyone wears
multiple hats and the proper candidate is going to have to do the
same.* Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead
follow-up, and outbound cold calls and emails* Understand customer
needs and requirements* Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas*
Continue working with key accounts to grow them into more sales
channels* Research accounts, identify key players and generate
interest* Maintain and expand your database of prospects within
your assigned territory* Team with CEO and Director of Sales to
build pipeline and close deals* Organize trade shows and trade show
sales strategiesWhat you'll need to succeed:* Proven inside sales
experience (3+ Years)* Strong phone presence and experience dialing
dozens of calls per day* Experience working with Salesforce.com or
similar CRM* Excellent verbal and written communications skills*
Strong listening and presentation skills* Ability to multitask,
prioritize, and manage time effectively* BA/BS degree or
equivalent* The right attitude - as stated we aren't your normal
company. We're fun loving, wild, and a little crazy. If you aren't
comfortable with shenanigans this probably isn't the right fit.What
you'll be getting:First off, a fun work environment that is far
from your typical office space. We push culture here a lot, in a
manufacturing company if you aren't having fun, you're going to
have a rough time. Compensation: Hourly + Commission: We are still
in our start up phase so finances are tight and benefits are low.
The sky's the limit here though and the right person could create a
nice salary for themselves very quickly! When you're selling an
item for $3 a piece though you have to sell a ton of them to even
start covering your own salary. You need to have a plan to hit the
