Sr. Project Architect Description Denver, CO Sr. Project Architect 9 months upon offer, candidates must complete a background and drug screen Summary: The Sr. Project Architect will work on two AGIS projects: Integrated Volt-VAr optimization (IVVO) and Fault Location Isolation and Service Restoration (FLISR). The project work consists of: 1) Establish and optimize process to setup, configure and perform end-to-end testing of distribution devices and field installations 2) IT work related to the implementation of a vendor supplied application(s) used to manage distribution field devices (package system implementation). 3) Coordination with other AGIS project dependencies (Network, GIS, AMI & ADMS) 4) Assisting in developing an integrated project plan between distribution work, IT work and other project dependencies (i.e. network, data, etc.) Responsibilities: Lead and develop high level for solutions Develop artifacts to be used in downstream SDLC phases Lead technical resources during the detailed design and development phase Work with project manager to lead the team from design to solution deployment Coordinates technical aspects of deployment, including hardware environments, certification, and software deployment. Requirements: Basic understanding of infrastructure, networking, integration, data, and application architectures Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate technical solutions between vendors and client Experience working with vendors to develop architecture designs for implementation of COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) products 5+ years of experience in end-to-end architecture design within complex environments Preferred: Utility industry experience a must #KRT #Low Horizontal Integration is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
