Since 2007, we have been providing comprehensive veterinary care to pets in the Denver metro area.We are a wonderful, AAHA accredited practice, located just south of downtown Denver in a fabulous location. We are a close-knit team who provides high quality medicine to our engaged clientele. We have great support staff and maintain a 2:1 ratio of staff to doctors. We are a well-equipped hospital with an ultrasound, laser, digital radiology, a dental suite and in-house labs. Basically, we have the team and the tools to make you feel right at home with us!We currently have 3 full time and 2 part time doctors and are looking for a new Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic new teammate who enjoys surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, and who prides themselves on practicing high-quality care.Sound like something youre looking for? Apply today!*Certified Veterinary Technician Role Requirements** Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.* Associate degree in Veterinary Technology*Certified Veterinary Technician Responsibilities** Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms* Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.* Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members.* Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring.* Competently perform dental prophylaxis*Certified Veterinary Technician Benefits** Work with Newsweek's #1 Ranked Healthcare Company in 2023* Professional Development Assistance - You have goals.
