Pay Range
Network Technician:
Hiring Range: $29.12 - $35.39 hourly
Pay Range: $26.75 - $37.95 hourly
Sr. Network Technician:
Hiring Range: $32.63 - $39.88 hourly
Pay Range: $29.70 - 42.80 hourly

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. - Network Technician only
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field preferred. - Senior Network Technician only
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience. - Network Technician only
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience. - Senior Network Technician only
  • Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.Licenses, Registration, and Certifications
    • Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class 'R' Colorado driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
    • Must complete required HIPAA training within the first 6 months of hire.
    • The following certifications are preferred (Senior Network Technician only):
    • CompTIA Network+
    • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST)Job Description
      Position Summary
      Under direct supervision, provide first-level support to end users in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of company network. Triage all incoming requests and provides first call resolution or escalate requests to appropriate second level support for problem resolution. This position involves some field work including travelling to various local locations to troubleshoot or install networking infrastructure.
      Essential Duties and Responsibilities
      • Respond to end-user requests for help and resolve requests for network services, technology issues, and break/fix issues.
      • Relocate network equipment, phone equipment, and computer equipment as required. Coordinates installation with user and technical support.
      • Install copper and fiber optic cabling to industry standards in support of network implementations. Supervise vendors that install cabling.
      • Coordinate with telco carriers to troubleshoot circuit and telephony issues.
      • Plan, coordinate, and implement installs/upgrades with telco carriers.
      • Coordinate and communicate network outages with internal customers.
      • Audit, review, and maintain all required documentation for installed network hardware and software, including maintenance records, and system configuration as outlined in IT policies.
      • Assist other techs with troubleshooting issues. Log all technology related issues in service desk software.
      • Research, configure, install, test, and maintain network equipment, network software, and communications equipment.
      • Review business requirements against hardware capabilities to ensure the solution provided meets the requirements in a cost-effective manner.
      • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
      • Prepare for and perform IT and/or industrial control systems (ICS) cyber incident response as required.
      • Perform related work as required.
      • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving procurement, management, and disposal of network related hardware. - Network Technician only
      • Develop troubleshooting and installation procedures for computer or telecommunications hardware and software. - Network Technician only
      • Coordinate and collaborate with the senior technical staff in development of technology policies and standards. - Senior Network Technician only
      • Implement operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures. - Senior Network Technician only
      • Assist with the division specific coordination and development of computer programming, testing, implementation, system review, and on-going system support. - Senior Network Technician only
      • On-call rotation. - Senior Network Technician only
