Advanced Analytics Analyst Sr.

The Advanced Analytics Analyst Sr. is part of the Health Economics,
Clinical team. Our team uses analytics to gain critical insights
into member behavior drivers and preferences, product value
propositions, operational effectiveness, and member level care gaps
and needs to support our internal CMDM teams.
How you will make an impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
--- Gathers and interprets data from a variety of sources (e.g.,
claims, clinical indicators, gaps in care, and patient satisfaction
surveys) to support our business's quality, cost & utilization, and
member experience goals
--- Provides support of these programs and advises solution owners
on programmatic changes needed based on data collected
--- Own delivery of identification processes and execution of
program improvement opportunities and new product launches
--- Prepares ad hoc analyses across multiple data sources to answer
key questions related to CMDM value drivers (cost, quality, member
experience)
--- Provides data insights that drive clinical process improvement,
such as reducing acute clinical events (ER/IP) and enhancing
members' access to preventative care
--- Creates visualizations that make technical analyses accessible
to a non-technical audience
Minimum Requirements
--- Requires MS, MA, or PhD with a concentration in a quantitative
discipline such as statistics, computer science, cognitive science,
economics, or operations research, Minimum of 3 years direct
experience programming large, multi-source datasets with SAS
required, and a minimum of 3 years in a health care setting; or any
combination of education and experience which would provide an
equivalent background. Intermediate to Advanced expertise with
software such as SAS Stat, SAS ETS, SAS Enterprise Miner or
equivalents strongly preferred. Experience with Teradata, SQL, SQL
Server, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
--- Proven ability to design modeling studies and experience with
data models, addressing data quality issues in study design, and
constructing robust and efficient analytical data sets strongly
preferred.
--- Significant experience in healthcare-related fields is strongly
preferred.
--- The ability to present meaningful results to a business
audience, to participate collaboratively in a team tasked to
produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule, to communicate
with strong written and verbal communications skills, and to
present to large multi-disciplinary audiences on a regular basis is
strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below
locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $87,360
- $109,200.
