Guidehouse Cybersecurity consultants help our clients solve complex technology and business issues from strategy through execution. What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 12+ years of cybersecurity-field experience, including 8+ years management. -
  • Extensive Risk Management Framework and cybersecurity risk assessment experience. -
  • Security Clearance requirement is TS/SCI, DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III - no exceptions
  • Monitor risk-related information for a government client by leveraging appropriate IT tools, analytic methodologies, and tradecraft within an existing risk management-related program. Determine baselines and apply contextual analysis to assess anomalous events. Work with junior analysts and make sound oral and written recommendations to appropriate authorities based on the data analyzed. Perform data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. Apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program. Develop best practices and lessons learned to contribute to constant innovation and improvement; may manage team of various IT Specialists, engineers, etc.
  • -Capable of leading Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, or Cybersecurity Risk Assessment tasks.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required for this role
  • Working knowledge of NIST 1-800-53 controls, Assessment and Authorization process, POA&M management, System Security Plan
  • Working knowledge of technology key performance indicators and cybersecurity vulnerabilities critical to identifying impactful capabilities and standards for securing .gov stakeholder's critical assets, including new or refined assessments, baselines and/or technical requirements for various services.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, standards, and guidelines governing security within the Federal Government (e.g., NIST publications, FISMA, and OMB memoranda).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply fundamental cybersecurity principles and concepts to tasks and projects.
  • Experience with cybersecurity risk management, research and development, and leading practices.
  • Skilled at effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.

    • Masters DegreeThe annual salary range for this position is $89,900.00-$179,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
