position is responsible for providing process specialization to
support to the day-to-day-operations in investments; reconciling
activity and administering changes between the portfolio management
system, order management system, and custodian bank.IDEAL

internal and external clients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists in reviewing data related to investment decisions
- Applies rules and regulations related to investment
decisions
- Reconciles and administers changes to the Portfolio Management
Accounting System (Portia) to the custodian bank for data integrity
on a daily and monthly basis in a timely manner
- Performs security setups and processes, reviews, and submits
trades within the LongView Trading System (LVTS) and Portia to
ensure accuracy and timely settlement, in accordance to internal
and external regulations and policies
- Monitors trade matching and confirmations for
internally-managed portfolios
- Processes stock splits, dividends, exchanges, and other
corporate actions according to internal and external regulations
and policies
- Projects cash activity as required for specific asset
classes
- Serves as a liaison between brokers, internal traders,
portfolio managers, and the custodian bank
- Updates and configures broker and settlement information in
external foreign currency and trade matching systems
- Cross-trains and cross-covers Investment Operations' desks for
contingency backup and knowledge growth
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing for system
implementations and upgrades
- Maintains regular and prompt attendance in the workplace
- Carries out other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or
closely-related field; one to three years of Investment Operations
or Investment Accounting experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
- Knowledge of investment instruments and investment related
software such as Bloomberg, FXall, Omgeo OASYS and CTM
- Knowledge of information systems and MS Office Suite
- Quality orientation and attention to detail
- Effective oral, written, and presentation communication
skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with others
in a team environmentWORKING CONDITIONS
- Standard office environment with constant computer operation,
and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy and printer
machine.HYBRID WORK OPTION
- Opportunity to work from home up to four -days per week.
