SUMMARY: A Credit Analyst is responsible for working closely with
companies and departments within them to help effectively utilize
lines of credit, as well as making sure that any arrears owed to
them are recovered in a timely way. This position helps coordinate
collections calls and also work with customers to make repayments.
They also assist in collecting pertinent documentation in regard to
disputes and unpaid statements, helping to determine both
creditworthiness and acting as a middleman between providers and
customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customer service regarding collection issues, resolve
customer discrepancies and disputes
- Monitor collection status of delinquent accounts and provide
weekly updates to manager
- Collect on all aged outstanding accounts via telephone and
email correspondence
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
- Maintain an updated status report for all overdue accounts
- Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when
necessary to accelerate the collection process
- Respond to all customer inquiries concerning billing and record
information in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with Sales Department regarding
customer disputes and drive for resolution
- Alert Manager of potential risks and exposures
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support
the Accounts Receivable Department
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting to direct manager
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of
outstanding balances that are due
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics WORK
ENVIORNMENT:
- Standard office environment; in office work setting first, with
remote flexibility QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with AP portals i.e. Ariba, Coupa
etc.
- 3 years of B2B Accounts Receivable knowledge with all levels of
customer contacts and sales personnel
- Experience with DnBi or similar credit reporting agencies
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, intermediate Excel Skills
COMPENSATION: As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for
Equal Work Act, -Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of
compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual
compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but
not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office
location. For the hires in the state of Colorado -only, the range
of starting pay for this role is $55,000 -to $75,000 -per year. -
