Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob description:We are looking for a Field Quality Assurance (QA) technician to develop and execute exploratory testing to ensure network and product quality. Field QA technician responsibilities include creating and implementing tests, issue validation, escalation and management and defining corrective actions. The QA technician role plays an integral part in our company's product and network development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software and hardware runs smoothly and meets customer needs, while being cost-effective. If you have a tech background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software and hardware quality problems, we'd like to meet you.Responsibilities:Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needsLiaise with internal teams (IT, RAN, Engineering, Product Development) to identify device and system requirementsMonitor debugging process resultsCommunicate the results found in testing and help to drive resolutions to provide an improved customer experienceTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect countsStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Skills, Experience and RequirementsRequirements and skills:Willingness to travel 80% of the timeProven work experience in a technical environmentProven work experience in software and hardware quality assurance a plusExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and issue descriptionsBachelor's degree in Engineering or technical degree, or an equivalent combination of highly related experience and education1+ year experience in network operations, analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performanceBasic knowledge of 5G ORAN split functions (7-2x, RU, DU, CU, CP, UP ) software architectures in a virtualized environmentAbility to multitask, learn new tools and systems, grasp higher-level technology issues, meet objectives and solve issues in stressful situations with high speed of completion and high degree of accuracyWillingness to work on any assigned shiftWillingness to go into a local office as needed since this is primarily a field positionExperience analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance Salary RangeCompensation: $57,400.00/Year - $82,000.00/Year BenefitsFrom versatile health perks to new career opportunities, check out our benefits on our careers website.
