Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for Repair Technician for our client company located in Englewood, CO. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits! Come join this dynamic organization!As a repair Technician/Technical Support representative, you will be responsible for repairing environmental instrumentation and providing remote technical phone support for both internal and external customers..Must have excellent customer interaction skills to maintain great working relationship especially when instruments need emergency repair and/or remote phone support.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, videos, and documents.Must also provide detail documentation (write-up) reports of work performed including technical data determined through testing instrumentation.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Dynamics CRM highly desired.On occasion you may have to travel to local customer industrial sites to work on instrumentation. Background and drug testing may be required for site entry safety requirements.Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and other means to reach stack platform where instruments are located; climb could be as little as 25' and as high as 150'.QualificationsA qualified candidate will have an Associate's degree (AA/AS.), Certificate or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; at least one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with both internal and external customers.Ability to calculate numbers and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.One to three years' experience working on instrumentation, preference for experience with opacity, NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, O2, NH3, flow rate, Mercury and Particulate instruments.
