Aggregates Plant Maintenance SuperintendentLocation: Denver, COSalary Interval: SalaryApplication Instructions Please apply by clicking the Green "Apply Now" button abovePosition Description The Aggregates Plant Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems focused on improving equipment availability, reliability, and processes for maintenance of fixed and mobile equipment assets at the division's mine sites. This position will provide leadership and direction for plant maintenance and construction projects and serve as a resource to local site management to achieve plant maintenance and construction project goals. Key functions include developing and implementing maintenance procedures, providing technical information and assistance to site personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues, providing coordination of plant construction projects, training site personnel, and supervising capital projects as needed. Salary Range - $85,000 - $125,000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures site objectives are achieved and work schedules maintained in line with project goals and objectives Accountable for maintenance cost performance, including monthly forecast and variance analysis Track and report fixed plant and mobile equipment KPI's ensuring they meet or exceed required performance standards Manage plant and mobile equipment maintenance history records Develop short and long term maintenance and equipment refurbishment/replacement plans for all plants Coordinate mobile equipment maintenance activities for all plants Provide leadership to site personnel to achieve safety, environmental, and company cost objectives Effectively promote, deploy, and comply with all Safety & Health and Environmental policies, standards, procedures, and regulations Develop systems and foster collaboration between co-workers to ensure the division meets monthly targets Ensure deployment of key initiatives and communication of relevant messages to all maintenance crews at site Review competencies, qualifications, and scopes of work, for contractors ensuring costs are managed and controlled while complying with company policies and procedures Serve as a mentor and coach to provide technical, practical, and field support to plant personnel focusing on increasing maintenance effectiveness, productivity and lowering cost through improved practices Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies Facilitate equipment troubleshooting and processing issues Identify operational opportunities and develop strategies for accomplishing the attainment of improved efficiency and productivity Participate in Company safety inspections as well as MSHA inspections Provide supervision to production and maintenance teams to maintain production and plant operating efficiency Schedule and execute preventative maintenance routines Develop and maintain sufficient spare parts inventory levels for mine sites Participate with site personnel to evaluate and resolve safety issues when they arise Other duties as assigned Environment Generally works in a construction office environment Willingness/Ability to travel domestically, as necessary, to (a) regularly meet/interact with site personnel spanning locations along the front range of Colorado.
