Job Description:

Description Senior Finance Analyst level finance planning and analysis position responsible for generating relevant, timely, and high-quality financial insights and reporting.Job responsibilities:

  • Provide planning, reporting, and analysis of Supply Chain projects to drive productivity.
  • Develop an analysis of purchase price variance and provide insight on inflation by component.
  • Develop a productivity tracker and lead teams in the monthly tracking of productivity projects.
  • Create models to provide financial insights enabling business leaders to evaluate new business ventures and/or changing business paradigms in an efficient way.
  • Analyze distribution costs and recommend changes to drive productivity.
  • Assist in preparing materials for senior management on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Continuously work to streamline and automate processes.
  • Assist in business case development as needed for, but not limited to, new manufacturing lines, new business propositions, and/or line extensions.
  • Provide financial analysis on an ad hoc basis.
  • Proactively manage process, meetings and calendars to ensure timeliness and efficiency of budget and month end procedures.Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • 2-4+ years of experience in a financial role including financial planning & analysis, public accounting, investment banking or management consulting
    • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
    • Unquestionable ethics and integrity.
    • Strong analytical skills and curiosity. Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to inform and develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Superb attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of standards and actuals cost-accounting methods.
    • Working knowledge of Chart of Accounts and accrual accounting.
    • Ability to think like a business owner.
    • Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment
    • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships, and influence at senior levels.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% and
    • Ability to work longer hours at month-end close.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Prior CPG Industry Experience
      • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC or other mid-large ERP systems and sub-systems
