Job DescriptionSystem One is currently seeking a Strategic Marketing Communications Consultant for a contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.This position will be with our client, a utility holding company serving more than 3.3 million electric customers and 1.8 million natural gas customers.

The Marketing Communications team sits within the overall Strategic Communications team.

We partner with product managers and the marketing and insights team to create and implement marketing and communications plans across all channels.Strategic Marketing Communications Consultant Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to understand objectives, consulting with the client on best tactics to achieve goals, presenting client with a recommended cross-channel plan for approval, working across channels to implement tactics, providing status updates and results reporting to clients, all while working effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Accountability, dealing with ambiguity, customer focus, motivated self-starter
• Develop integrated channel plans, work across channels, and create content for a wide range of projects
• Consult with sales and marketing representatives to obtain information on product or service and obtain requirements including style and length of copy
• Edit or rewrite copy as necessary
• Prepare articles, bulletins, marketing, and promotional material
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver within tight deadlines
• Demonstrate creativity and the ability to vary language and tone of messages based on product and medium Strategic Marketing Communications Consultant Requirements:
  • Solid writing skills, nimble, multi-channel planning, digital channel knowledge, project management
  • Understanding of strategic marketing communications across all channels, strong writing skills, project management skills Project Duration: 12-monthsLocation: Minneapolis, MNPay Rate: $38.31/hr.
